Flying Out

After a long journey of hard work on Leap the day arrived for her to be shipped back south. We had considered a Mississippi River adventure but the water levels were so low we could have spent time aground as Leap draws 5 1/2 ft.
We researched options and decided to ship her to Demopolis Alabama to the Demopolis Yacht Basin on the Tombigbee River.
We will finish trimming her out and setting the rigging before adventuring down river to Mobile Bay then into the Gulf of Mexico.
As you can see in the last picture, it was difficult for us to decide what to take with us, making sure we had all the tools and supplies we would need to finish Leap
